Four-, six- or eight-axis programmable servo amplifier

Delta Tau Data Systems Inc. offers the Geo Brick, the newest addition to the Geo PMAC family of programmable servo amplifiers. Suitable for a range of machine automation applications, the product can support a variety of motor types and power ranges.

The embedded PMAC2 motion controller within the Geo PMAC can be programmed for virtually any type of motion control application, and it includes PLC programming features for logic control, CNC, gantries and robotics with kinematics. The development tools and user knowledge base are transferable because the programmable amplifiers are based on the motion controller.

Designed to operate at various power input levels, the amplifier requires a 24 VDC logic power supply.

The amplifier comes equipped with standard features, such as direct line connections on 240 VAC mains, single or three phase; 12 VDC to 340 VDC operation; a primary encoder for each axis with TTL differential/single-ended inputs; a secondary encoder for each axis, with a maximum of eight encoder channels available; as many as 32 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs at 24 V; options for 12- or 16-bit analog I/O; and more.
