Modular, solid state PWM switching device, MMP25A-48V, provides unidirectional dc motor speed control for higher-voltage battery-powered applications. Able to deliver 25 A continuous current at 48 Vdc, 1 x 2 x 4.5 in. device delivers 1,200 W continuous output power as well as 40 A PEAK current for PEAK output power capacity of 1.9 kW. Potted design enables it to meet IP-65 standard rating for resistance to elements and harsh environments.

This unique Modular design, a solid state PWM switching device, provides unidirectional DC Motor Speed control, and is ideal for all battery-powered applications that require adjustable speed of a DC Motor or Gear Motor... Able to deliver 25 Amps continuous current at 48 VDC, this compact (1 x 2 x 4.5") control delivers the current required to power most Brushed DC Motors, by delivering 1200 watts of continuous output power. Now, with the latest design enhancement, this device is now capable of delivering up to 40 Amps of PEAK (momentary) current, for a PEAK output power capacity of 1.9K Watts. Input voltage range is 36 to 60 VDC.
The design is fully encapsulated (potted) enabling it to meet the "IP-65" standard rating for resistance to the elements and harsh environments. The outer casing is brushed aluminum, and two 6.35mm diameter thru-holes are provided for easy mounting to any flat (heatsinking) surface. A set of 7 "Quick Connect" terminals is provided for connecting to power, motor leads, and a potentiometer, one of which is provided with each unit.
