Software delivers on-demand, collaborative conferencing

inSORS Grid 2

IG2 dramatically expands small, medium, and large group collaboration with:

-- A "like I am there" experience enabled by full duplex audio, and multiple simultaneous video and data views for each location;

-- Complete "on demand" inclusion of both room based groups and individuals as participants, or for immediate consultations; and,

-- Integrated "data sharing" capabilities as a natural partner to voice and video.

IGMeeting delivers a single collaboration environment that brings together auditoriums, conference rooms, workspaces, video endpoints, PC endpoints, and/or telephones. Through its patented software, inSORS delivers the highest quality user experience for work groups ranging from two to 20+ individuals over two to 20+ locations. Key features include white boarding, Web conferencing, VoIP calling, chat, desktop sharing and file sharing.

IG2 expands on the capabilities of the first inSORS Grid with several important new features, including: interoperability with ITU-standard H.323 videoconferencing systems; full-duplex audio with standard and wide band codecs; H.264 video compression for improved video quality at all bandwidths; and secure firewall and NAT traversal. Unique to IG2 is the ability to optimally deliver 2 million pixels of video and record and archive voice, video, and data communications for prospective playback within real time collaborations.

InSORS also announced today, the release of a line of turnkey room systems that securely operate on existing IP infrastructures (using commodity audio visual equipment). The new inSORS solutions include:

-- Grid room systems for groups - Turnkey room systems delivering the full functionality of IG2 (described above) including multiple displays, microphones, and cameras in support of multi-party / multi-location collaborative work. The Grid room systems are designed to be easily set-up and operated in existing personal work environments, small and large conference rooms, and/or, auditoriums.

-- The unified collaboration server ("UCS") - The UCS manages multiple video views, voice streams, sessions, and data collaborations; the interface with h323 phone and video systems; the archive of recorded files; storage of files required; and directory, presence, and security functionality.

-- Video conferencing room systems - Cost effective room systems designed for integration with existing IP video conferencing infrastructure that provide comparable capabilities as existing video conferencing systems plus access to selected IG2 features.

Pricing and Availability

The purchase cost of IG2 solutions (including client hardware) range from as low as $550 per system for large multi-location groups to as much as $40,000 for a multi-camera, multi-microphone, multi-display large conference room systems showing and presenting millions of active pixels. InSORS believes that its solutions provide more functionality than traditional room video conferencing systems at purchase prices that are more than 35% lower.
